Our Company

RESPAN PRODUCTS INC. is a privately owned Canadian company incorporated under Ontario Charter in 1981. As a manufacturer of plastic medical devices, its current products include a full range of respiratory and oxygen supply products and miscellaneous accessories. All product related research and development, design/engineering and production/manufacturing are done in-house.

Manufacturing processes include injection molding, extrusion, assembly and packaging from the raw material stage to finished goods. All products are produced on company owned molds and tooling and are assembled to rigid quality standards, complying with, or exceeding applicable industry standards. A quality assurance system includes lot numbering of all raw materials and manufactured goods, permitting complete trace ability. RESPAN^® has completed the Quality Assurance Audit for ISO 13485:2016, MDSAP and (for sales in Europe) Directive 93/42/EEC ANNEX V - CE Mark.

Products are sold under the RESPAN^® label through distributors to hospitals and directly to Home Health Care Companies and Emergency Services. Some manufacturing is done under private label for major medical distributors.

Non-medical products (about 15% of gross sales) are sold in Canada and the U.S.A. consist of a range of plastic hose fittings.

We are constantly developing new products and improving our existing lines, all while adhering to a range of industry quality standards. RESPAN's innovation and automation procedures are designed to develop and extend our efficiency. 

We also work closely with health industry partners and individual health care professionals to prototype, test, and design exciting new products.
