RESPAN PRODUCTS INC. is a privately owned Canadian company incorporated under Ontario Charter in 1981. As a manufacturer of plastic medical devices, its current products include a full range of respiratory and oxygen supply products and miscellaneous accessories. All product related research and development, design/engineering and production/manufacturing are done in-house.

Manufacturing processes include injection molding, extrusion, assembly and packaging from the raw material stage to finished goods. All products are produced on company owned molds and tooling and are assembled to rigid quality standards, complying with, or exceeding applicable industry standards. A quality assurance system includes lot numbering of all raw materials and manufactured goods, permitting complete trace ability. RESPAN has completed the Quality Assurance Audit for ISO 13485:2003 as of June 11, 2005, ISO 9001:2000 as of July 27, 2005, and (for sales in Europe) Directive 93/42/EEC ANNEX V - CE Mark as of June 11, 2005.

Products are sold under the RESPAN label through distributors to hospitals and directly to Home Health Care Companies and Emergencies Services. Some manufacturing is done under private label for major medical distributors. RESPAN PRODUCTS INC. is an approved vendor to the Ontario Ministry of Health and the City of Toronto Ambulance Service

Non-medical products (about 15% of gross sales) are sold in Canada and the U.S.A. consist of a range of plastic hose fittings.
